Mill Street, Currie, MN Open House Join us on Saturday, June 27, at End-O-Line Railroad Park & Museum in Currie, MN for our annual Open House event. The park will be open from 10am-5pm. The park's historic buildings will be open for self-guided tours during this time. Normal Park admission will be waived for the day in lieu of free-will donations. Proceeds help preserve the park's buildings and history. Free cookies and refreshments available while supply lasts. We are excited to announce that at Noon, guest speaker, Teresa Peterson, Ed. D., will be giving a presentation to the public. Dr. Peterson is an author, storyteller, and gardener from the Upper Sioux Community. As a Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota, she will be sharing her people's history and culture in what became, through colonization, war, and eradication, Southwestern Minnesota. It will serve our community well to hear Dr. Peterson speak at a time when our nation seeks to revel in an anniversary which serves to obfuscate our greatest failures as a people. All are welcome.
