New Dawn A Circle of Support CEO New Dawn, Inc. is seeking candidates with the right alignment of commitment, experience, and vision to become the next CEO. We are a not-for-profit provider of a full range of residential services to those community members with disabilities who can be effectively supported in our facilities. 2023 will be our 50th year of operations, with facilities in Fulda and Worthington, MN. This is a hands-on role supporting residents, staff and collaborating with family, community, and other service providers. Our Mission is "To inspire and support freedom of choice and independence for persons with disabilities in a safe community environment". This position is responsible for providing the overall leadership, guidance, and direction of New Dawn, working with and through the staff, leading the management team in creating and implementing a shared vision for the organization and establishing an environment that facilitates and motivates employees in working toward achievement of organizational goals. Recommendations and unusual situations are reviewed with the Board of Directors. This position works within the guidelines of New Dawn policies/procedures, State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations. Qualifications/Experience/Background B.S./B.A. degree in the field of social services, health or business administration or its equivalent is required. A minimum of 5 years track record of success leading an organization or significant role in leading is required. The incumbent must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with New Dawn staff and with external personnel such as federal, state, and local agencies, and prepare and make presentations. The ability to develop, expand, and coordinate services provided by New Dawn is also required. Compensation and Benefits are per organizational policy and practice.
