Sibley-Ocheyedan is a 2A school district with approximately 850 learners in grades PK-12. We are located approximately one hour from Sioux Falls and Sioux City in the Northwest corner of the state. The district is also a short 45-minute drive to the Iowa Great Lakes. We are proud to offer a small district atmosphere with a student teacher ratio of 13:1 but with many outstanding opportunities for students to participate in both academically and in co-curricular activities. 39% of our teachers hold Master’s degrees or higher and 45% of our teachers have been teaching for 15 or more years. Our staff consists of a great combination of veteran and newer teachers to compliment one another and make our learning environment one that is engaging and motivating for students.
