M geronimo Worthington's Future Looks Bright We recently welcomed five students from the 59 Corridor CEO program to the Geronimo Power Nobles County Powered Data Park office for a morning of inspired conversation about entrepreneurship and building a business in your community. Geronimo Power invited the students as part of its commitment to connecting with future leaders who'll shape Nobles County for years to come. The 59 Corridor CEO program develops future leaders by immersing local students in real-world business experiences. Kenna Bancroft, community engagement specialist at Geronimo Power, shared her path into community work and talked through what it takes to get a business off the ground. Ron Honken, project development liaison at Geronimo Power, talked about how far genuine curiosity and a good question can take you. Over donuts from Hy-Vee, the students shared their own business concepts already in motion: an IT repair service, a real estate venture with a photography angle, a fruit cup partnership, and even a sauna featuring red light therapy. The ideas were sharp, and the enthusiasm was contagious. Roxanne Hayenga, community development coordinator at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, partnered with Geronimo Power on the visit. The college plays a vital role in developing local talent and strengthening the regional economy. As Geronimo Power continues work developing the Nobles County Powered Data Park, the company is working to create more opportunities for skilled workers and entrepreneurs in the area-so that talented young professionals can build their futures right here in Nobles County.
