Worthington Area Symphony ORCHESTRA WORTHINGTON AREA Orchestra is a volunteer community orchestra that has rehearsed and performed in Worthington since 2010. During its two major concerts per year, the orchestra provides high- quality and challenging musical experiences for musicians throughout the area. The musicians are diverse representing all ages and walks of life and are united in their common love of music and desire for an improved level of musicianship. WASO's mission is also to educate and entertain family audiences in the surrounding area with a wide variety of musical experiences which cannot be enjoyed elsewhere in the area. WASO has become a model program for other communities, bringing growth to the performing arts throughout the region and the State.
